Maintenance Mechanic Position Summary The Maintenance Mechanic position conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance services. What You Will Do Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs. Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production equipment. Read and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to preform required maintenance and service. Repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. Order building material and parts for equipment. Perform preventative maintenance program for all facilities and equipment. Comply with OSHA safety and health rules. Assume the role of Manager in Managers absence. Who You Are High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training; exposure to high speed equipment. 2 years of related experience in packaging/production machines. Strong organizational and mechanical skills. Detail oriented with ability to multi-task. Excellent communication skills.
