Your role at Clorox: This position will provide global support and leadership to cross functional process owners on internal controls, specifically, control design, operation and testing approaches for existing processes and for relevant system implementations and new processes, with a focus on IT. This role will also manage the direct testing center of expertise (COE) through the annual SOX control effectiveness testing program. Lastly, this position is expected to support the SOX team with overall project management and administration of the SOX tool. In this role, you will: - Effectively manage the internal control process to ensure successful year-end external audits, including scoping rationalization, approach for testing and approach for process owner / action owner certifications as it relates to IT - Support key IT system implementations that impact internal controls to ensure effective implementation controls and ongoing IT controls - Provide global support and leadership on internal controls change initiatives as it relates to IT - Manage the direct testing COE work program and related SOX tools What we look for: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional finance and business process experience. 3 years Big 4 public accounting experience preferred. Ability to lead cross-functional change initiative and form solid business relationships across functions Demonstrated success with developing and/or managing transactional and business processes that result in GAAP compliance as well as process efficiency and effectiveness Ability to assess processes and systems to identify key control activities, determine whether they are functioning properly, and identify and implement improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness Lead and develop the FRC team to understand the business and drive process improvements and efficiency, especially as it related to tools and technology Strong project management Strong verbal and written communication SAP knowledge preferred Workplace type: Backfill for employee who left company We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
