Maintenance Helper

Job Description: 3M is seeking Full-Time 3rd Shift (6:00PM-6:00AM) Maintenance Helper candidates for Pittsboro, North Carolina. Job Description:   The Maintenance Helper will assist with maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, and/or performing preventive maintenance and repair of equipment, decorating and painting the interior and exterior painted surfaces buildings, structures, and equipment. Responsibilities:  Assists with repairs to piping; assists with maintenance/repair of motors, compressors and generators Assists with repairs to steel guards, equipment bases, tools, handrails, replaces bearings, belts and filters on HVAC equipment; performs preventive maintenance Assists with repairing structures on interior/exterior of assists with suspended ceiling installations Prepares surfaces for painting, protects surfaces and objects near painting; may assist with painting; assists with finishing and refinishing wood Required: High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Desired: 1year of Industrial maintenance experience Pay & Benefits: Competitive Salary Health Benefits (Vision & Dental) Coverage starts day 1 (One) of employment 401K Match Employee Stock Discount For more information visit: https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/careers-us/working-at-3m/benefits/  About 3M  Do you see the world differently?
