Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Class A CDL driver to join our team based in Dayton, OH. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for drivers looking for consistent routes, competitive pay, and excellent benefits. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of recent driving experience and be comfortable with hazmat transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deliveries and pickups to various customers and vendor warehouses in Fort Wayne, IN, Elkhart, IN, Chicago, IL, and other areas
- Perform an average of 20 stops per week
- Utilize a combination of drop and hook and tailgating methods
- Assist with moving freight using a manual pallet jack (up to 50 lbs)
- Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Compensation and Benefits:
- Weekly Pay: $1,495.05
- Annual Salary: $76,248
- New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 (paid in full on 2nd paycheck)
- Competitive pay structure: $0.55 CPM and $18 per hour
- Home time includes a 34-hour reset at home
- On-site parking available in Dayton, OH
Requirements:
- Class A CDL license with hazmat endorsement
- Minimum 6 months of recent driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must reside within a 75-mile radius of Dayton, OH
Equipment:
- 2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner trucks
