Long Haul Flatbed Truck Driver
Location : Columbia, OH to West Jordan, UT (75-mile radius of Columbia, OH, 50-mile radius of Medina, OH)
Route : Columbia, OH to West Jordan, UT, reload from West Jordan heading east. Deliver load, then pickup backhaul in Chicago, IL (flat steel plates, tarping required).
Deliver to Fremont, OH. Potential local deliveries from Fremont, OH if time permits or return to Columbia, OH to dispatch on another 10-day run.
Average Stops : 2.5 per week
Route Duration : 10-12 days (e.g., leave Monday the 1st and return between Wednesday or Friday the following week, 10-12 days out)
Equipment : 2020-2023 Freightliner, Step deck flatbed trailers
Freight Type : New propane tanks, caps, steel plates
Speed Limit : Trucks governed at 65 mph
Compensation :
- Sign-on Bonus : $500
- Delay Pay : $25 per hour after $50 per stop
- Long Haul Bonus : $325 per 10-day trip to Utah
Requirements :
- Minimum 6 months of flatbed experience
- Safety gear required : Steel toe boots, hard hat, gloves, safety vest, ear plugs
Pay Details :
- Base Pay : $0.75 per mile
- Average Weekly Pay : $1,825 - $2,145 (depending on driver's willingness to run)
- Yearly Average : $95,000 - $105,000
