The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Alabama is seeking an OTA fellowship trained, BE/BC orthopaedic surgeon to join the Division of Orthopaedic Trauma. The candidate is expected to have national or international expertise and strong leadership qualities. The University of South Alabama maintains a Level I Trauma Center with over 2,000 trauma admissions per year and is the region's largest trauma center.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in academic surgery in the areas of patient care, resident and student education, and trauma-related clinical and translational research. The rank of associate or full professor on the tenure or non -tenure pathway are possible.
