What You’ll Do

This team member takes on the responsibility of ensuring we adhere to the regulatory requirements of various federal regulatory acts. They will monitor file flow and ensure that the requirements of various federal regulatory acts are consistently applied. By using the necessary understanding of residential mortgage loans and mortgage loan products they will work with deadlines and business partners to meet requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify industry regulatory requirements to recognize and implement best practices for remaining compliant with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA).
• Correspond with consumers the final disposition of the consumer loan application in conformity with ECOA, HDMA, and all other applicable regulations.
• Monitor loan-level data to ensure all pieces of required HMDA data are present.
• Assist in administration of vendor management oversight program.
• Support all other compliance-related assignments as required for agency/regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum 1-year residential mortgage experience and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• General knowledge of Encompass Database and Microsoft Suite.
• Demonstrated ability of prompt service level response time.
• Displays a positive attitude, strong planning and execution, and a solid work ethic.
