Job Description The Evaluated Pricing Service at LSEG provides evaluated prices on more than 2.6 million fixed income securities on behalf of our clients which include banks, hedge funds, brokerage houses, mutual funds, insurance companies, auditors, and asset managers. The evaluation teams are responsible for providing our clients with objective, accurate, and consistent prices for various asset classes, such as securitized products, sovereign and corporate bonds, derivatives, and municipal bonds. Responsibilities   Determine the fair value for securities in the assigned portfolios Aggregate, assess and maintain trade data and market quotes that have a direct impact on evaluated prices Respond to price challenges and pricing inquiries from clients Maintain a network of contacts in the corporate bond space Identify valuation risks due to market volatility. Monitor equity indices, US treasury movement and corporate actions Drive methodology enhancements to ensure valuation controls accurately capture market dynamics and opportunities to enhance efficiency Utilize technical and financial knowledge to improve the timeliness and accuracy of pricing production procedures Work with developers and business leaders to enhance the evaluation process, and exceed stakeholder expectations in the following areas: regulatory requirements, coverage and accuracy, automation, and transparency/customer service Promote continuous improvement through research and analysis and data quality control Build upon your corporate fixed income knowledge across a variety of sector Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or Finance Master’s degree in financial engineering, finance or economics is a plus 2-3 years of working experience in the financial markets Strong Excel skills required; VBA, SQL, and/or Python programming experience a plus Organized and efficient, with the ability to handle multiple types of workflows and deadlines At LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
