Contract Manager (contract)

We are in need of an Immigration Consultant to assist us with a project out of our Chicago office. It would be about 2 weeks of work at our 8410 Bryn Mawr location. This person will need to review our immigration files, take inventory of the files and track what documents are in the files and what files are missing.

Immigration Consultant job description ideas:

We are looking for a meticulous immigration consultant to help UScellular review immigration files to ensure they are complete. The immigration consultant will be responsible for reviewing relevant information and resources, supervising the completion of documentation, and submitting data on behalf of individuals, as required.

Immigration Consultant Responsibilities:

• Keeping up-to-date with alterations to immigration laws.
• Reviewing all pertinent documentation.
• Ensuring completion of paperwork
• Verifying the authenticity of paperwork and supporting documents
• Responsible for preparation of accurate nonimmigrant petitions and applications, including H-1B, TN, L-1A, L-1B, E-2, O cases as well as immigrant petitions including national interest waivers, extraordinary ability and outstanding researcher and professor petitions.
• Perform legal assignments under supervision of an attorney.
• Compile data for preparation of employment-based, immigration-related filings
• Prepare appropriate forms regarding client matters before the Departments of State, Homeland Security and Labor
• Analyze information and documents provided by client to determine next steps for case preparation
• Prepare draft documents for immigration applications
• Maintain case records

Immigration Consultant Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuing degree in law, international relations or similar is preferred but not required
• Experience as an immigration consultant, preferably with documentation.
• Top-notch research, fact-checking, and writing abilities.
• Experience in business Immigration and experience preparing and delegating -1B, J-1, L-1, O-1, TN, E-1/E-2, EB-1, and other types of NIV and IV petitions is required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of business immigration experience is required.
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Previous business immigration experience
• Individual must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and have strong analytical and organizational skills
