Job Title: Green Belt (Lean Six Sigma)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Effectively coordinates Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement projects within the Plant.
- Works with Plant leadership to select charter projects and then executes to achieve an effective outcome.
- Uses standardized Lean Six Sigma methodologies to systematically eliminate waste and reduce process variation.
- Positions continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant by fostering strong collaboration. Includes working effectively with cross functional teams.
- Understands statistical analysis tools/methodology, project management, Lean Six Sigma, Quality, and basic financial principles and applies them to analyze the planned activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Degree or Equivalent Training:
- Minimum of two years' experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution preferred.
- Experience in a supervisory role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to successfully complete Green Belt certification process.
- Proven organization skills, including time and project management capability.
- Must be able to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus around common goals.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
