What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quarry Operator (Production) position at USG Corporation?
Role & Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within an industrial quarry/mine setting.
- Operate multiple pieces of off-road heavy equipment in the process of mining gypsum.
- Basic troubleshooting/maintenance skills to facilitate equipment performance.
- Recording of production data and other results in the manner required.
- Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as
- Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Some prior experience operating off-road equipment is preferred.
- Able to operate assigned mobile equipment in a safe manner.
- Must possess a valid driver's license. CDL a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment.
- Team player, good communication skills needed with all co-workers.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
