Operational Risk Analyst

What will you contribute? Working as part of the Global Risk Management team (reporting to the Global Head, Operational Risk and Resilience), this role is vital to the organization in identifying, assessing, and monitoring key risks, related controls, and driving the Operational Risk Issue Management program. Responsibilities & Deliverables The Operational Risk Analyst is responsible for working with team members to drive risk assessments, control identification, control testing, and issue management. This role will also work closely with the eGRC function to create risk and control reporting and ensure consistency of processes and data validation across the eGRC function. Requirements Identifies and assesses key operational risks Analyzes risk and control data to provide insights to management and other risk stakeholders. Support continuous improvements to enhance and streamline processes. Implement and conduct Second Line governance of Business Resilience and Third Party Risk Management. Support efficiencies and automation for business and risk management teams. Makes recommendations, develops, and implements other operational risk management activities. Collaborates with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team in the RCSA, Risk Assessment, and Findings Management processes.   Required Experience/Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management or a related field. 3 years of risk management, audit, compliance or other directly related experience. Ability to work on a team and with others in various support and leadership capacities. Knowledge of Microsoft applications and other database, analysis, and reporting tools including Power BI. Experience with eGRC tool(s) Excel and PowerPoint Skiils Strong Project Management background   Preferred Experience/Skills Experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Third Party Risk Management, and/or Enterprise Risk Management. Knowledge of risk and control assessment techniques and concepts Knowledge of various bank and government regulatory requirements Experience with Fusion Risk Management and/or Salesforce environments Experience working in a matrix organization Knowledge of process improvement and process automation techniques ************************************************************************************************************* The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
