Duties

  • Conducts specified aptitude examination sessions ranging in size from 1 to 40 person (enlistment tests), and 1 to 250 persons (student tests).
  • Instruct applicants on testing procedures and starts, observes, times, and ends the test or test segment as directed.
  • Utilize computer systems and software to administer computer-based enlistment and student aptitude tests.
  • Responsible for the security and accountability of student test booklets, at home, during transport, and at the testing location.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The duties of this position require you to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • This position has a requirement to lift up to 30 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
  • This position requires you to work on an intermittent or unscheduled, on-call basis.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 100% of the time. This position requires 100% travel away from the duty station to conduct testing in remote locations or at schools.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as, 1) Presenting oral instructions to individuals and/or groups; 2) Conducting thorough checks to ensure forms are properly completed; and 3) utilizing automated systems to provide reports/information to others.

Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.

Education
