Job Title: Concierge Lobby Desk Receptionist (Part Time)- Residential and Commercial Property
Location: Pike & Rose
Position Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Concierge Security Officer to join our team at a residential and commercial property. The Concierge Security Officer will play a crucial role in providing superior concierge security services, ensuring the safety and security of residents, tenants, and visitors. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a range of duties, including access control screening, identification verification, phone answering, senior dignitary escorts, and package/mail delivery services.
Responsibilities:
The position will include the following daily duties, which are subject to change occasionally as the work expands.
Greeting tenants and guests:
· The building is entirely secure; all guests must be logged in to the visitor system to gain access to visit a tenant.
· All packages and deliveries must go directly to the tenant space and will not be accepted at the front desk. Delivery drivers will have to log in as a guest to get access to a tenant space.
· Delivery drivers that need to deliver items to multiple floors can sign out a fob for temporary use to go between floors and return the fob to the front desk.
· Control of contractor logbook where all building contractors sign in and sign out, including their usage of fobs for building access as required. Coordinating this access with engineering/management.
· Assisting with scheduling tenant usage of conference rooms, rooftop amenities, wellness rooms, gym, and other spaces as needed.
· Assisting tenants with questions and concerns regarding Pike and Rose and the building.
· Entering in and following up with engineering/janitorial/security requests.
· Watching security footage throughout the day to ensure the safety and security of tenants. (This does not mean they will watch this footage every minute of the day.)
· Watching elevator computers throughout the day to report any issues noticed as soon as possible to engineering and management.
· Assisting property management with administrative tasks, including coding invoices, vendor coordination, tenant memos, and other tasks as needed.
· Work with the onsite security team to ticket and tow vehicles violating the “Loading and Unloading Only” no parking areas within view or viewable on cameras.
· Work with the onsite team (engineering, management, janitorial, etc.) to report any urgent issues of importance before inputting them into the online ticketing system.
· Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent education.
· Previous experience in security, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
· Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate screening, identification verification, and documentation.
· Basic computer skills for logging incidents, accessing email, and utilizing property management software.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a professional demeanor.
· Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and security technologies is advantageous.
· Knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures.
· Valid security license or certifications as required by local regulations.
Note: This position may require working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the operational needs of the property.
