Summary
USNR, a leading manufacturer of sawmill equipment with divisions located throughout the U.S. and Canada has an immediate opening in Woodland, Washington in our accounting department. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to process a high volume of payroll.
Qualifications
- Experience in PDS Software (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player
- Strong PC, spreadsheet and accounting software skills (Excel & Word)
- Good organizational skills
- Develop and maintain collaborative and respectful working relationships with team members and others

- 4 years of experience working with internal payroll system and/or payroll administration, preferably in a large, multinational company
- Strong analytical, quantitative, planning and organizational skills
- Able to handle highly sensitive matters, maintain confidentiality and objectivity
Responsibilities
- Processing high volume payroll, including taxes, garnishments, etc. Multi-state and Canadian payroll experience preferred.Processing high volume payroll, including taxes, garnishments, etc. Multi-state and Canadian payroll experience preferred.
- Bi-weekly, Semi-monthly & Weekly payroll processing
- Maintain payroll information by accurately collecting, calculating, reviewing, and entering data in payroll system.
- Verify pay types, deductions, taxes and preferences are set up correctly.
- Monitor and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner
- Print and issue manual checks as needed.
- 401k processing.
- Filing time off requests, missed punch reports, etc.
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information accurate and confidential.
- Ensure compliance with state laws.
- Process terminations
