Admissions Professional
We are looking for an Admissions professional who can interact well with patients, patient''s families, doctors, fellow employees and vendors. This is a fast paced environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and patient satisfaction. This facility treats an average of 30 patients per day. We are looking for an individual who is a team player and has great customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients to the center
- Collect appropriate co-pay and obtain signatures on admission forms, might be required to discuss financials and insurance benefits
- Make copies of patients insurance cards
- Log in patient receipts on cash/check and credit card logs
- Balance cash logs to match credit card and check batches
- Finalize patient chart with all appropriate forms and nursing assessments
- Verify patient demographic information and update as required
- Work with pre-op nurses to obtain all assessment and physician forms
- Monitor and process Reptrax (vendors coming to the facility for cases)

Position Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of hospital or medical office experience required.
- Ability to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet high-paced demand.
- Show a genuine desire to work and improve the center as a whole.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional manner.
- Must be able to adhere to hospital financial and admitting policies.
- Ability to promote positive relationships with patients and staff.
- Must know insurance verification and collection processes.
- Must have problem solving and decision making skills.
- Professional appearance.
- Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
