Pre-Op/PACU RN Full Time Hacienda Surgery Center in the Bay area
Well established Ambulatory Surgery Center in the bay area is currently seeking an experienced registered nurse to join their Pre-Op and PACU team. We are looking for an individual with solid integrity and character who will work hard to provide quality patient care, and is team oriented. The position is full time Monday – Friday. Applicant is required to have a current California RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current CA Nursing License
- Current BLS, ACLS
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
- Ability to care for patients with changing medical priorities and ability to respond accordingly
- Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Excellent teaching skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to change
- Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
Hourly Wage $65 to $70 an hour
Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
