What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN PACU position at USPI?
USPI Williamson Surgery Center is seeking a motivated RN PACU to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, Spinal, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings; schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.
Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, the PACU nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Currently licensed in the state
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in PACU or ICU
