The Opportunity:

Role: AWS Engineer (Migration)

• Around 5 years of strong development experience using AWS and K8s with dockers in cloud migration from On Premises to AWS
• Experience in networking.
• Expert level skills on Linux OS, network, storage and security internals and system administration skills
• Good understanding and experience on dealing with firewall rules, VPC setup, network routing, identity and Access Management and security implementation.
• Implementation experience with primary AWS services like – (EC2, Autoscaling, ELB, EBS, EFS, S3, VPC etc)
• Candidate should have experience in DevOps (Ansible/Chef), CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins / Bamboo), build (Maven/Ant) and release management
• Hands on experience in setting up Containers based environment using Kubernetes developer with Python Scripting (Open source, Docker or RedHat Openshift), microservice infrastructure and Docker.
• Sound understanding of Kubernetes concepts (PODS, Daemon sets), Container storage (options for stateful and stateless), Container networking technologies, Virtualization (VMware), AWS elastic Kubernetes services.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to work across time zones and geographies
• Experience with migrating applications from on-premise to AWS cloud environment is a big plus
