You Are:
We are looking for Programmer Analyst who designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing.
The Opportunity :
- Making decisions that are moderate in impact; errors may have relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question.
- Most tasks require multiple steps that can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
- Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required.
- Exercising creativity to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.
- Design, develop, operationalize, and maintain end-to-end analytical solutions.
What you need :
Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in Tableau.
- Experience handling large scale data visualization projects.
- Experience with data structures and data model design for data visualizations.
- Strong knowledge with SQL.
- The ability to collect information and identify fundamental patterns/trends in data. This includes the ability to gather, integrate, and interpret information from several sources.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of database design, and structuring of data for various business needs.
- The ability to make quick, accurate decisions. This includes the ability to weigh alternatives.
- The ability to understand the cause of an issue and contribute to identifying the appropriate solution.
- Knowledge of systematic approaches to solving common technical problems (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational). This includes the ability to identify problems and report and escalate problems according to established procedures, and the ability to identify available information resources for troubleshooting. Additional Competencies (All competencies below are required upon entry).
- The ability to collect information and identify fundamental patterns/trends in simple to moderately complex data. This includes the ability to gather, integrate, and interpret information from several sources.
- Familiarity with various applications (e.g. Oracle, Cloud).
- Knowledge of components, structure, and approaches for storing, managing, and accessing data. This includes the ability to develop simple data structures and queries.
- Knowledge of systematic approaches to solving common technical problems (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational). This includes the ability to identify problems and report and escalate problems according to established procedures, and the ability to identify available information resources for troubleshooting.
- The ability to quickly prioritize mission-critical from less important or trivial work activities. This includes sensing what the next most useful thing is to work on, and focusing on the critical few tasks that add value while putting aside or delaying the rest.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience OR 5 years’ experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience without a bachelor’s degree.
- 1 years’ experience with Database Design structures such as Mongo DB, MySQL.
