Technical Skills: Mandatory skills: - Architect and develop customer solutions based on current hands-on knowledge of Azure Cloud Solutions and Hyper-V product line, storage, networking, management, and associated customer business processes.
- 12 Years of experience in Linux Administration and OS life cycle management (CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu)

Main responsibilities - Strong Knowledge in Azure Administrators “implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to compute, storage, network, security and other Iaas Services
- Ensures server performance and maintains applications on servers
- Problem solving and documentation of current and new Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments
- Performs and oversees continuous system health checks, user administration, and application of patches and upgrades
- Performs data management services, server tuning, and directory services maintenance
- Increase reliability and enhance efficiencies by implementing 3rd party tools and scripts
- Linux server inventory management (Add/Change/Delete Configuration Item in the database, i.e. Owner, Tier, Service/Support group, EOL’s)
- Ensures compliance to security standards, policies and guidelines
- Provides business continuity through thorough back-up and restore procedures, and periodic testing of outage scenarios
- Administers and maintains a Linux based server network, with a combination of physical and virtual servers
- Datacenter migration support
- Perform OS patch management, applying application patches and updates, facilitating service request fulfilment, and safeguarding client data
- Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains servers & server-based applications
- Server audit & administration – access to users, event log and health check logs
- Basic Knowledge to support Oracle database installation and maintenance in Linux environment
