You are:
UST is searching for an ETL Lead who will act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options, optimizing application development, maintenance, and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions, to account for others' developmental activities.
The Opportunity:
- Work with product managers/architects to maintain a healthy product backlog and ensure continuous grooming and elaboration of user stories to get them ready for development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in the server components, and DB components.
- Writes custom code or scripts to do "destructive testing" to ensure adequate resiliency in production.
- Develop process and application workflows and use cases, both current and future state.
- Works and implements agile/scrum & DevOps processes, continuous integration, and automated testing frameworks.
- Adheres to maintenance plans/timelines, project plans/timelines, support plan summaries, and production requirements documents.
- Participates and leads in learning activities around modern software design and development core practices (communities of practice).
- Reviews and discusses code from more senior engineers to understand best practices and design patterns.
- Increases business acumen by learning about other parts of the business.
- Responsible for providing technical leadership in multiple phases of a project, ensuring coordination of assignments to IT resource management, and escalating key decision points that deviate from the provided technical direction.
- Maintain knowledge of development methods, best practices, and standards.
- Work closely with IT Security to ensure all systems (internally hosted, cloud-based, etc.) follow industry standards and policies for safeguarding data and access.

What you need:
- Expert on ETL technologies - Azure ADF, SSIS, SSRS
- Design, Development, and Testing of Data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from source to target system using SSIS.
- Experience working with tools such as SSMS, TOAD, PL/SQL developer
- Should have knowledge of SSRS concepts
- Knowledge of various tuning operations to improve performance.
- Prepare HLD and LLD Documents
- Good knowledge of data extraction/ manipulation using SQL.
- Experience working within an agile framework like Scrum based development organization.
- Thorough knowledge of departmental procedures processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of standard languages, coding methods, company coding standards, and quality requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Domain experience in healthcare payer & provider space, and prior experience in IDP/OCR-based products will be a plus.
- Proficient in a use case, user story creation, requirements gathering, grooming, and project scoping. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within distributed teams.
- Team player who is flexible, delivery-oriented, and takes responsibility for the team's success.
- Enthusiastic attitude with the drive to continually learn and improve.
- Ability to understand business needs and conceptualize and implement information systems that support those business strategies.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington as set forth below.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for Role
Remote: $73,000-$109,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
