You Are:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the data architecture for our organization. The Senior Data Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define data strategies, and ensure the integrity, security, and availability of our data assets.
The Opportunity:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture that aligns with the organization's business objectives and goals.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data models, databases, and data integration solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance data architecture capabilities.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality standards and implement data profiling and cleansing processes.
- Design and implement data integration solutions to enable seamless flow of data across different systems and platforms.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure proper implementation of data integration processes.
- Define and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the data architecture team.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in data architecture and recommend optimizations for improved efficiency.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, including data models, data flow diagrams, and system specifications.

What you need:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect with a focus on designing and implementing complex data solutions.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Expertise in data integration technologies and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $111,000-$167,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
