What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Assistant position at USTC?
This Accounting Assistant position will be responsible for accounting functions including payables, receivables, and invoicing.
Core Responsibilities
- Support with creating and placing:
- Purchase Orders
- Accounts Payables
- Accounts Receivables
- Year-end Audit requests
- Handle communications and follow-up with clients and vendors via phone and email.
- Match invoices and credit cards with Purchase Orders.
- Each invoice must match Purchase Order, invoice amount, payment terms, and get approvals by supervisor or managers.
- File and process invoices as needed after payment.
- Assist in printing, copying, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Key Experiences
- 3 years Accounting experience required; Payable experience preferred.
- PC experience in Windows environment required; proficient in Excel required and SAGE a plus.
- Strong individual with initiative and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Must possess excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
- Must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking large volumes of work.
- Customer Service/Sales related experience valuable.
