- Completes patient care tasks as directed by the Registered Nurse and assists in providing quality care to a patient population ranging from age newborn to geriatric.
- Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team and assists in ensuring that each patient receives care appropriate to his/her illness or injury.
- Assists the nursing staff in providing patient care consistent with physician’s orders, Departmental protocols, and in accordance with hospital and departmental policy.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion EMT-Paramedic certification
- EMT, Paramedic or LVN Licensure
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required
- ACLS certification required
- Previous hospital or health care setting experience preferred
- PALS certification preferred
