Responsibilities
- Complete physician orders by retrieving orders and completing the necessary steps to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Assist with inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies by replenishing supplies, documenting items to be ordered, and rotating stock to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Assist in the maintenance of orderliness and cleanliness of the department.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to calculate and compound medication orders
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Intravenous Admixture Certification course through an approved ACPE provider
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous pharmacy experience
