Job Description:
Research Associate II performs a variety of routine and non-routine research assignments and experiments and assists with lab maintenance responsibilities. Applies molecular biology techniques to investigate host nervous system immune responses to substances of abuse and neurotropic viruses. May include future work on projects in biocontainment (BSL-3). Will be required to perform in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo experimentation and assays. Experience in immunology, pharmacology, and/or molecular biology a plus.
