100% FTE, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with flexibility to meet department’s needs. Some holidays required. This position will work at University Hospital.

We are seeking a Social Worker to:
- Support the Coordinated Care Team by providing Social Work support to Neurology/Neurosurgery Intensive Care Unit patients, families and team members.
- Assess psychosocial needs and apply brief interventions to support the medical treatment plan and discharge/transitions of care planning process.
Education :
Minimum – Master’s Degree in Social Work
Preferred –
Work Experience :
Minimum –
Preferred – Two (2) years prior hospital based social work experience OR Two (2) years prior hospital or community-based social work experience if supporting the HIV Clinic
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum –
Licensed in the state of Wisconsin with one of the following:
- Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (CAPSW)
- Certified Independent Social Worker (CISW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
