What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Executive position at UWL, Inc. / UWL?
The Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for helping to manage and grow our customer base across the United States, over the phone, via social media, and through email. They will be equipped with the tools to tackle the full sales cycle; prospecting, relationship building, customer service, and operations.
These positions are fully remote, and these candidates can be located anywhere in the Continental United States.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Helps drive new account growth via prospecting, sourcing, and account penetration
- Earns trust of customers and recommends product solutions that fit their business needs
- Develops, maintains, and manages new client relationships
- Be available and accountable to both customers and internal stakeholders
- Drives profit (margin) through effective negotiation.
- Effectively utilizes our CRM, Salesforce, for client prospecting and pipeline management
- Manages and maintains own book of business
- In conjunction with management, develops budget within designated territory
- Identifies and solves customer problems and addresses operational issues
- Develops and maintains excellent work relationships that enhance customer services
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of global logistics industry experience (NVO sales preferred)
- Experience with a CRM similar to Salesforce preferred
- Proficient experience utilizing video conferencing platforms including but not limited to MS Teams, Cisco WebEx, Zoom.
- Proficient experience with MS Office 365.
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Cold calling experience
- Motivated to reach and exceed quotas
- Ability to remain resilient in an aggressive and competitive environment
- Understand the importance of self-motivation, time-management, and organizational skills
- Thrive in a fast paced environment that requires problem solving and decision making
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
