Job Description
V1Fiber is seeking an experienced, drop bury technician to support the project teams on deployment of telecommunications-related projects across the United States. This position will report to the Construction Manager. This position will require multiple responsibilities including work with Drill Team along with other tasks.
Responsibilities
- Direct bury fiber lines.
- Using mechanical and hand tools.
- Verify Path and locates prior to work.
- Effectively communicate intentions of work with customers and lead.
- Communicate equipment and property issues along with any damage to direct supervisor.
- Must have the ability to work with others.
- Will be asked to assist with other requirements including working with the drill team and equipment operators.
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED.
Qualifications
Experience
- Drop Bury (1) Year (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Excellent oral and written communications skills is required
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel is required
- Aerial, directional boring, missiling, macro trenching experience is preferred
- US Citizen or eligible to work for any US employer without visa sponsorship
Education/Training
- High School or Equivalent (Preferred)
