Industrial Hygienist

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Health and Safety, or Public Health.
• At least three to six years' experience as an Industrial Hygienist or EHS Professional, including experience with quantitative industrial hygiene sampling methods.
• Experience with Industrial Hygiene concerns related to construction, facilities or equipment maintenance, hazardous waste, and/or incident response (highly desired).
• Industrial Hygiene program management or support related to welding fumes, lead, asbestos, crystalline silica, and/or legionella.
• Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to present data in a structured format for distribution to a variety of stakeholders
• Upper-level or expert proficiency with Microsoft excel.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
• Industrial Hygiene program management or support related to HCPs or RPPs.
• Maintaining compliance with Federal, State, or local health and safety regulations.
• Industrial toxicology or human health risk assessment.
• Recommending specific local exhaust or general dilution ventilation controls.
• Recommending specific PPE related to processes and materials handled.
• Hazard and risk communication.

• 8 hour shift
