What we're looking for
Vacasa is looking for a Market Leader to support our Principal Broker in our real estate operations in Palm Springs, CA. The right candidate will be focused, flexible, and have leadership skills. The candidate must be actively licensed in California, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate sales.
The Market Leader will provide leadership and assist in meeting Vacasa Real Estate's sales production goals, provide mentorship and coaching to in-market Vacasa agents, have a focus on Vacasa property management growth along with real estate sales, and find opportunities for team growth while assisting in the development of the skills of an elite team of real estate professionals.
What you'll do
- Recruit, hire, retain, coach, and train new and experienced agents.
- Meet or exceed agent growth and engagement targets.
- Get out there. Collaborate in-market with the business development team and operations team to identify opportunities, support in-market activities and events.
- Support, mentor, and coach our agents in training around vacation rental sales.
- Determine growth future market opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales and property management goals for your market.
- Support our agents in the use of our systems and tools to generate leads and communicate with their sphere of influence to increase the whole team's production.
- Build a culture of trust with their team to support success and camaraderie amongst the sales associates, support employees, and rental operations team.

Skills you'll need
- Proven ability to develop a team of top-producing real estate agents.
- Outstanding listening skills and follow-through.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Analytical abilities with desire to use and grow your tech skills with ever-changing and new systems.
- High integrity.
- Solution seeker and problem solver.
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient, while having the confidence to seek guidance and direction as needed.
- Solid computer skills including experience collaborating through many different software platforms.
- Experience with transaction management software, Dotloop a plus
- Desire to work in a growing and fast-paced start-up environment
- At least 3 years experience as a licensed real estate agent
- Experience with Short-Term-Rentals preferred but not required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and education a plus.
- Current Broker's license or desire and ability to obtain a Broker's license for your state (a Broker's license may be required in some states.)
Working conditions
This is an in-market role and candidates must be based locally or be willing to relocate to Palm Springs, CA to be considered.
You'll be working in your home office setting. We hold virtual training sessions and weekly team meeting. Occasional offsite team meetings in your region or our HQ locations. Requires frequent, repetitive use of a computer, phone, and office equipment. Requires patient, professional communication with prospective clients, and the ability to build confidence with prospects.
