What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk Manager position at Vaco Technology?
Job Description:
- Develop relevant recommendations and solutions to transform risk management and mitigate areas of risk
- Oversee implementation of physical security equipment including badge systems, access control, alarms, and camera systems
- Update and keep current the status of records and documents in databases
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns
- Prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations
- Develop reports for management regarding system compliance with standards (SOC)
- Conduct internal audit activities (participate in annual risk assessment, develop internal audit plan, conduct internal audits)
- Assist in the execution of the corporate vendor management program by periodically conducting site visits to key vendors
- Perform system log reviews as necessary for selected platforms
- Firewall configuration, Web application. Windows/AIX/Linus system log, Database activity, Host-based and network-based intrusion detection system. Router configuration, Policy compliance, Physical Access security reviews, Assessment of system patch status
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Security certification (security , GSEC, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, AIX, IDS/IPS, firewalls, routers, switches, Oracle, and SQL databases
