Job Description
As a SharePoint Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our acquisition process through SharePoint automation and optimization. Our eight-step acquisition process involves document reviews, validation, and collaboration, which are currently managed through shared drives. We are looking for a professional who can leverage SharePoint to streamline these processes and minimize the operational burden on our teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Analysis: Conduct a thorough assessment of our current acquisition process and document management system to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- SharePoint Implementation: Design, configure, and implement SharePoint solutions tailored to our acquisition process needs, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
- Process Automation: Develop workflows and automation within SharePoint to facilitate document reviews, validations, and approvals as part of the eight-step acquisition process.
- Change Management: Minimize change management efforts by ensuring that the SharePoint solution seamlessly integrates into the Microsoft 365 environment and aligns with existing tools and workflows.
- User Training: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they are proficient in using SharePoint for document management and process automation.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation and manuals for SharePoint configurations, workflows, and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and ensure the SharePoint solution meets business needs.
- Maintenance and Optimization: Continuously monitor the SharePoint solution's performance, security, and scalability, making necessary adjustments and enhancements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in SharePoint development and administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Experience in process automation and workflow development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to analyze complex processes and translate them into efficient SharePoint solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Associate).
- Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Knowledge of document management best practices.
- Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions processes.
