The Recycling Supervisor is responsible for scheduling recycle attendants’ work days and report to the recycle /fleet manager on a regular basis, while additionally reporting to the Engineering Department office daily to inquire about changes or special request for help by others. The Recycling Supervisor ensures that all collection operations minimize visitor impacts and emphasizes litter control, while assisting in maintaining the safety of the trash and recycling areas on the property, keeping all recycling areas "bear proof" and compliant with NPS standards. This is a seasonal position. Our season typically starts Mid-April through ealy October.

The “must haves” for this position include:

• Valid US Driver’s License
• Ability to lift, and carry, up to 60lbs
• Strong communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Strong care and passion for the environment and recycling efforts

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:

• Class-A CDL
• Previous experience operating a forklift
• Previous supervisory experience
