What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Manager position at Vak Pak, Inc?
Vak Pak, Inc. is an industry leader in design and engineering of filtration and water management systems worldwide. With installations from Australia to the Mid East, Vak Pak continues to expand its equipment line providing the highest quality in pool, spa, splash park, fountain, waterfall, and zoological garden solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manages all aspects of procurement as key part of supply chain team
- Establishes kanbans & manages kanban cards for reordering
- Participates in design review meetings and orders low use items as needed
- Manages inventory on the floor and in the warehouse
- Manages incoming purchasing requests from manufacturing supervisors
- Requires a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Creates PO's in Quick books and manages receiving and transmission of packing slips to accounts payable
- Must be self motivated and able to work independently
- Previous purchasing/warehouse experience is a plus
- Full training provided
Experience:
- Purchasing/warehouse: 3 year minimum
- Neat with high attention to detail
- To be considered candidates must complete the skills assessment referenced
