Purchasing Assistant
Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Work with engineering to source new vendors and materials
- Obtain and distribute material specifications for quotes
- Work with vendors to ensure any issues around PO’s are resolved in a timely manner
- Keep management informed of availability / economic situations to insure consistent flow of materials
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to keep good records
- Experience with Sage/X3 a plus
- Basic knowledge of Excel
