Valdese Weavers is searching for a 2nd shift QA Tech to join our Dye House Team.
Job Summary: To split down packages of yarn for QA analysis (color consistency throughout package).
Essential Functions:
- Walk to location in Dye house and obtain packages to be broken down, place in a buggy.
- Make quality checks.
- Report all quality issues to supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Meet all pre-employment requirements.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Manual dexterity.
- Ability to discern colors and shades. Must pass the test for colorblindness.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
2nd shift 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
