Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm (overtime and weekends as needed)
Reports To: Shift Supervisor

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Operate machine to enhance surface of parts
- Determine usage of different machines according to customer requirements
- Anticipate and overcome production related problems, material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and unavoidable delays where possible and plan to reduce their impact on the operation Perform daily tests to determine size and shape of media
- Run test specimens and provide to customer as required
- Coordinate company projects and programs designed to support different initiatives
- Communicate with customer service on recovery dates and expected completion dates for processing
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines and submit maintenance requests for further maintenance work
- Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 2 plus years of experience in Aerospace

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit
This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
