SUMMARY:
Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer, this position is responsible for the overall direction of the Information Systems department. The director has oversight and responsibility for all financial, managerial, strategic, and clinical objectives. The director ensures staff development, performance, and competence, staffing patterns, performance improvement, capital and operating budgeting, and internal and external marketing and communication for the department. This position is accountable to county, state, and federal agencies in addition to other external regulatory agencies for maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum ten plus years experience with management and development of information systems.
- Health care experience required.
- Ability to develop and manage operating and capital budgets to meet the needs of the organization.
- Meditech HCIS experience preferred.
- Is generally able to report on-site to RCH within 45 minutes where the employee is subject to being called for urgent issues.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science of Management Information Systems required. Masters degree preferred.
- Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements: federal, state, Title XXII, The Joint Commission, and California Department of Public Health
