What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applications Coordinator - Epic Beacon/Research position at Valley Children's Healthcare?
The primary responsibility of the Applications Coordinator is to facilitate customers' innovative means of utilizing the software to promote hospital objectives. Responsibilities include: system support of assigned computer applications, providing consultative services to customers regarding the functionality and design of the applications to support workflow, and to lead or be a key participant in IT related projects. This requires knowledge of customer workflow and work objectives, application functionality, database and configuration parameters, and integration of applications with other systems. This position works collaboratively with multiple groups within the organization, including all levels of leadership. This position is also responsible for maintaining vendor relationships.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information System or equivalent experience. Individual must have a minimum of three years experience in Information Systems or Information Management function with an emphasis in clinical application support. Experience with Epic's Beacon and Research applications strongly preferred. Strong project and vendor management skills required. Must possess strong customer service and communication skills.
POSITION DETAILS: Full time, 80 hours per pay period. Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Remote, California preferred.
PAY RANGE: $36.20-$56.00
