What You Will Do:
Under the direction of the VHS Director, Organizational Development the Training Specialist is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of learning content including e-learning, job aids, and classroom based materials. In addition, the Training Specialist will be responsible for the administration of the learning management system (LMS) and e-learning software. In partnership with other colleagues on the OD Team, will support the implementation and delivery of courses programs including the set-up and facilitation of online and in person classes.
What You Will Bring:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource, Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology or related field required
Experience
One or more year experience of instructional design including working with courseware development tools (iSpring, Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, or other applications)
One or more year experience of LMS Administration (Saba, Cornerstone, etc.)
Experience in Project Management.
Experience with SharePoint, MS Office products and WebEx/Zoom
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of and experience with organizational training design projects
• Experience developing initiatives that support organizational culture and employee engagement
• Proven excellence with project management with the strong desire for project completion
• Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups and the measurement of training effects
• Ability to prioritize workload, complete multiple projects to meet deadlines required
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) required
• Ability to administer and manage an LMS
• Self-directed, highly professional and collaborative
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Continuous learner who seeks out best practices, routinely benchmarks others and thinks of better ways to accomplish tasks required
