What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Concierge position at Valley Honda?
Basic Function:
The cashier/concierge position is accountable for error-free payment processing, and friendly interactions with customers.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Receive payments by cash, check, credit/debit cards or gift cards
- Ensure that there is sufficient cash in the drawer
- Efficiently operate computer system to process payments
- Maintain correct balances on all transactions
- Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers
- Maintain a clean check out area
- Communicate company policies and procedures to customers
- Interact with clients in waiting area
- Assisting clients with questions or assisting them to find the right associate who can further assist them
- Ensuring coffee/tea bar is cleaned and well stocked
- Ensuring customer waiting area is cleaned and organized
Desired Qualifications:
General clerical experience. Must be detail oriented, with excellent customer interaction skills. Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods.
Salary : $26,100 - $33,100
