Our team of field services is growing and needs your expertise in Yankee dryer grinding and thermal coating services. If you have a desire to learn about papermaking and how the mechanical product affects the overall process, we want to hear from you! As a Field Service Specialist - Pulp and Paper, you will support the Mill Site service team to perform field services in accordance with contract requirements. As the expert and lead, you will be the primary contact between internal teams and the customer. Therefore, we are seeking highly motivated individuals who are interested in growing their personal career and motivated to learn.
Responsibilities include:
- Must have technical knowledge, preferably in the pulp and paper industry
- Developing quotations and project specifications
- Maintains the grinding and thermal coating equipment in a professional manner to ensure dependability
- Provides technical sales support and generating customer-focused, high quality, timely field reports with strong recommendations for improvement
- Follows up with customer and sales force to ensure that quotations meet customers' needs
- Ensures project profitability is maximized by controlling job cost
- Able to conduct machine measurements
What You Need
We’re looking for individuals who are self-motivated and enjoy customer interaction. Well qualified candidate will have a strong mechanical background as well as Technical Degree or equal combination of paper industry experience.
Other qualifications include the ability to travel up to 75% with or without notice in advance and the ability to work in a team or independently.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be eligible to travel in Mexico and Canada.
