Production Manager

As a Production Manager at Valmet, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to Team Members ensuring we are safely and efficiently achieving Valmet’s business goals. Individuals in this role are expected to train and coach Team Members, foster an environment where all associates feel empowered, engaged and encourage teamwork at all levels. Primary duties will include: Promote a safe and working environment through teaching and demonstrating safe behaviors Responsible for operational and production efficiency Working with Team Members to create a cohesive work environment; building trust though clear communications and recognizing team members for a job well done Ensure the morale of the team is maintained through frequent, effective communication Demonstrate in-depth understanding of all process requirements: customer specifications, equipment function/troubleshooting, material quality, standard processes and quality control Maintain department flexibility through cross training team members Expectations Will this be the right step for you?
