Job Description:
Valpro is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join the team at our Oceanside, CA location. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our product development programs by providing administrative support to cross-functional project teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities and timelines with cross-functional teams
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including preparation of agendas and meeting minutes
- Maintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of project deliverables
- Support project budget tracking and management
- Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans and schedules
- Identify and escalate project risks and issues to appropriate stakeholders
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are achieved on time and within budget
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field
- 2 years of experience in project coordination or project management in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience working with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet, preferred
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, preferred
