Your Role:
This position offers substantial compensation through commissions and is available with a rapidly expanding Home Builder. You must be willing to work evenings and weekends and have prior experience in New Home Sales/Construction. Your designated territory will encompass five counties in the Carolinas, where you'll collaborate with a General Manager and a Field Manager as part of your team.
We're looking for a self-motivated individual who is eager to learn the intricacies of our home construction processes to educate customers effectively. Additionally, you must be dedicated to investing the time necessary to guide customers in making informed decisions about home design, pricing options, and understanding lot preparation. Your role will involve one-on-one consultations with customers, necessitating strong communication skills to help them reach their desired outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- In-person and on-site meetings with customers
- Assist customers in identifying the perfect home to suit their needs and financial plans.
- Guide customers through the process of designing their unique homes.
- Educate customers on our construction techniques.
- Help customers prioritize their preferences to provide exceptional value.
- Submit pricing requests for homes to ensure accurate quotes for customers.
- Benefit from qualified leads provided by our company, constituting a significant portion of your business.
- Independently generate leads by canvassing your territory with signage.
- Independently generate leads by nurturing relationships with local real estate professionals.
- Promote the company within the local community to raise awareness.
- Maintain a well-presented design center.
Qualifications:
- Experience in New Home Construction Sales or a strong desire to learn about home construction.
- Proficiency in Excel, Adobe, Google Suite, or Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with people.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, allowing for successful self-management.
- If you hold a Real Estate Broker license, you will be asked to sign a non-compete that you won't practice real estate concurrent with your activities with ValueBuild Homes.
- Technical construction and product knowledge to understand product benefits and features, to price special construction options, and to understand terminology to assist in the communication of field service problems.
- Community and geographic territory industry knowledge for the assigned geography/communities.
- People skills to articulate and professionally handle communication with prospects, customers, employees, and vendors.
- Organizational aptitude to manage the pre-construction job package routing and processing. Detail orientation to ensure the accuracy of all sales contracts and prospect worksheets.
- Computer aptitude and willingness to learn to track prospect activity lists and to communicate via letters, etc.
- Sales ability to maintain a reasonable closing ratio or other performance benchmarks.
- Must have understanding and willingness to comply with prospect follow-up system to ensure efficient and timely sales goals are reached.
Accountability Measures:
- Number of sales.
- Percentage of traffic units registered.
- Closing ratio.
- Customer satisfaction ratings.
- Number of follow-up appointments scheduled during the period.
- Projected profit percentage of sales.
- Realtor events sponsored or visits attended
- Accuracy of audited worksheets and sales contracts.

Target Compensation: $115,000 to $230,000 (Base salary plus commission)
