The Vice President of People and Culture is a strategic yet hands-on leader who oversees all aspects of the operations, services, and budget of the People department, including Talent Management and Acquisition, Employee Experience, Organizational Development and Training, and Total Rewards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10 years previous Human Resources experience required
- Minimum 7 years previous Human Resources leadership experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Prior experience with or working knowledge of an HRIS system including system implementation required
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of organization change and cultural transformation process
- Ability to conceptualize and implement Human Resources strategy and tactics
- Trusted business partner who assists leaders in anticipating, identifying, and resolving issues with sustainable solutions
- Exceptional strategic and critical thinking skills and the ability to coach, consult, and work directly with senior managers to translate the needs of the business into HR strategies and actions
- Highly developed ability to communicate effectively and confidentially, both oral and written, with all levels of employees, leadership, and Board
- Experience in a high growth organization with the ability to help an organization scale and grow teams
- Must have excellent attention to detail, follow through and communications skills with all levels within the organization
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build, establish and maintain trust and credibility
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, organize, and prioritize projects and achieve results
- Strong and confident self starter that values on-going learning and self-development
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills required
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel & MS Word required
- Thorough knowledge of Federal and multi-state employment law

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Leads the People function in the creation and implementation of progressive initiatives in all HR Talent Management and Acquisition, Employee Experience, Organizational Training and Development, Total Rewards (Wellness, Benefits, Compensation, Performance Management, HRIS), and Legal Compliance that align with business strategies and contribute to a motivate workforce
- Direct and secure development of workforce plans and selection of top talent. This includes the assessment of organizational needs, interview and selection process, internal and external relationship management, employer brand, on boarding, orientation, and budget
- Ensures the efficient design and implementation of on boarding and orientation of all corporate employees to actively engage new employees and ensure a lasting understanding of the culture, ethics and expectations of company expectations and programs
- Provide leadership for all employee relations matters, to assess, investigate, mediate, and correct issues. Provide mentorship to leadership and ensure all actions are consistently administered
- Direct culture and engagement strategy, programs, and initiatives elevating the employee experience, retention, and company culture. Create, develop, implement, and evaluate HR practices policies and procedures
- Evaluate, create, and implement organizational, training and development programs including talent assessments, succession planning, career development plans, employee, and leadership development
- Drives a performance driven culture through the development and implementation of a compensation and performance-based philosophy
- Administer total rewards program designed to attract, retain, and engage top talent; this includes health and welfare plans, wellness, and 401k
- Manages the development of the annual HR budget to support the companies operating plan
- Oversees record keeping and retention, assuring that support functions are carried out according to prescribed procedures
- Participates on senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies and mission of company

Salary : $90,500 - $115,000
