Road Construction Crew

CONSTRUCTION CREW MEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have a good driving record
• Must be willing to travel to any and all job sites (including overnight stays out of town).
• Perform a variety of tasks in residential/highway road construction projects
• Perform manual work in preparing surfaces for paving.
• Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices
• Performs basic road repair and maintenance tasks
• Report safety hazards and traffic problems.
• Ability to work extended hours & irregular days with irregular breaks.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA.
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist coworkers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
• Ability to move up to 70 lbs multiple times each day
• Complete all other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

• Assist with upkeep and cleaning of related equipment
• Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
