Collections Specialist
Our well-known client in the Salem area has an opening for a Collections Specialist. This company is locally owned and an industry leader for 40 years.
This position will be onsite for training transitioning to a hybrid schedule with work from home flexibility.
Collections Specialist Responsibilities
Contact customers on past due invoices and set up payment applications.
Send corresponding past due invoices and follow-up documentation to resolve outstanding balances.
Maintain accurate payment data into the systems.
Analyze aging reports and make recommendations to management.
Handle multi-state filing notices.
Provide backup support to the department.
Collections Specialist Qualifications
3 years of collections and credit experience; construction background a plus.
Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, or a similar field a plus.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with emphasis on customer service.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. About VanderHouwen
